4Special Effects Companies —Industrial Light and Magic, a division of director George Lucas's company, Lucasfilm, has an illustrious filmography that begins with films such as Lucas's Star Wars (1977) and Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and includes recent films such as Jonathan Mostow's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Gore Verbinski's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).
