Overview
The Brief Edition of Western Civilizations offers all of the benefits of the Full Edition, but has been streamlined for courses that require a shorter text. The resulting book is approximately one-third shorter and one-third less expensive. The pedagogical format and chapter structure of the full edition have been maintained in the Brief Edition, and students will also have unrestricted access to the full ancillary package, including the Digital History Center.
Western Civilizations is available in a number of different formats to provide maximum flexibility.
Brief Edition
One-Volume format and 2-Volume package.
Full Edition
One-Volume cloth format, a 2-Volume paper package, and a 3-Volume paper package.
