Geotours Workbook

Worksheets accompany each chapter’s Geotour—23 in all—and can be assigned as homework assignments and lab activities. This manual offers useful material to help instructors as they prepare their lectures and includes over 1,200 multiple choice test and true-false test questions. The test bank is available in printed form, and electronically in Blackboard-ready formats.

Animations

Over sixty original animations, developed by Professor Marshak to illustrate dynamic Earth processes, emphasize plate tectonics, geological hazards, and earth systems science concepts. With 20 new animations for the Third Edition, these high-quality animations and can be enlarged to full screen view for lecture display, and include VCR-like controls that allow instructors to control the pace of the animation during lecture. These animations can be accessed conveniently from the free StudySpace student website. Offline versions of the animations are available on the Instructor's CD-ROM, linked from PowerPoint slides for easy classroom display.
