The Fifth Edition builds on that emphasis by focusing on critical reading and awareness of audience as key concerns throughout the writing process — from planning and drafting to revising, editing, and proofreading. The Fifth Edition pays increased attention to collaboration between writers and readers and offers sound advice on giving and receiving constructive feedback, working in peer review groups, and collaborating on writing projects.
Document Design
A new chapter on document design emphasizes the important role of visual information in delivering a rhetorical message.
