Meet the Editor
Wayne A. Meeks is Woolsey Professor of Biblical Studies at Yale University. He received both his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale after completing a B.S. at the University of Alabama and a B.D. at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He has been a Fulbright Fellow, a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow, and a Guggenheim Fellow, and President of the Society of Biblical Literature. He taught previously at Dartmouth College and Indiana University. His other works include The First Urban Christians: The Social World of the Apostle Paul; The Prophet-King: Moses Traditions and the Johannine Christology; and Go From Your Father’s House: A College Student’s Introduction to the Christian Faith.
