Alison Booth is Professor of English at the University of Virginia. She is the author of Greatness Engendered: George Eliot and Virginia Woolf and How to Make It as a Woman: Collective Biographical History from Victoria to the Present.
J. Paul Hunter is Professor of English at the University of Virginia. He is the author of several books, including Before Novels: The Cultural Contexts of Eighteenth-Century English Fiction.
Kelly J. Mays is Associate Professor of English at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She is currently working on a book tentatively titled Reading Classes: Reading, Subjectivity, and Community in Nineteenth-Century England.
