4. According to your textbook we now live in a society where we are increasingly confronted by various types of manufactured risks. Briefly explain what these risks consist of. Do you think the last decade has brought us any closer to or further away from confronting the challenges of manufactured risks?
5. Summarize the different sides of the globalization debate and then consider where you stand. Explain your own position with reference to the material on globalization that was presented throughout the textbook, not only the information found in this chapter.
6. This chapter ends with an argument for why we need to move toward some form of global governance. Summarize the arguments in favor of this position and then consider whether or not you think this future is possible.
