Click on the second video listed on the page and see if you can identify all 9 of the intentional changes in subtle features during the film. While it won't have anything as dramatic as the Simon and Chabris (1999) gorilla appear in the frame, it does note the difficulty of seeing change in an interaction for which our schemas dictate that there should not be any change. Explore the page for more examples of "blindness" to changes due to different causes. (Must have QuickTime and a fast internet connection.) |
