What You Can Do

Can you make a difference? You never will unless you get involved. This week, decide that you will do three of the following activities.  For each activity, write down what you have done and a brief comment describing how you felt about your political activities.


  1. Read a newspaper or a weekly news magazine.

  1. Watch some monologues of late-night comedians and compare the coverage of issues.

  1. Watch a political talk show on TV.

  1. Discuss politics with friends.

  1. Write a letter to a campus or community newspaper.

  1. Call in to a radio talk show.

  1. Join an Internet discussion group on politics.

  1. E-mail your representative or senators.
