Introduction
Before embarking on this simulation, make sure you have read chapter 11: “Groups and Interests.” Pay particular attention to the section that discusses the strategies and tactics of groups.
In this simulation, you are cast in the role of Legislative Affairs Director for an interest group. You will be given some information about your group, and your task is to maximize the chances that your group’s objectives will be achieved in the U.S. Congress this session.
You are encouraged to replay this simulation multiple times, in order to see the consequences of differing choices.
