Introduction
Before embarking on this simulation, be sure to read chapter 9 on political parties, thinking about the roles parties play in elections as well as the effectiveness of party organizations.
You have decided to run for your party’s nomination for the office of County Clerk. There are two additional candidates, so unlike many county level contests, this will be a contested nomination.
How will you allocate your scarce resources? What actions will you choose to use in appealing to the party organization for their support?
