Jay Rosen teaches Journalism at New York University, where he has been on the faculty since 1986. He is the author of PressThink, a weblog about journalism and its ordeals, which he introduced in September 2003.

4. How does Rosen characterize the way the media cover party conventions?
5. What ways could the media cover politics to make things more interesting? How would that change how voters would be able to make decisions?
6. Are Rosen’s ideas similar to Kuhn’s? How so?
