Diana George (b. 1948) is a professor of English at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She has written widely on culture, writing, and visual representation. She is the editor of Kitchen Cooks, Plate Twirlers, and Troubadours (1999), a collection of essays by writing program administrators, and a coauthor of Reading Culture (with John Trimbur, 2006) and Picturing Texts (with Lester Faigley, Anna Palchik, and Cynthia Selfe, 2004).
