Jack Horner (b. 1946)

Paleontologist. Horner grew up in Shelby, Montana, and studied geology and zoology at the University of Montana. He is Regents Professor of Paleontology at the Montana State University and curator of paleontology at the Museum of the Rockies, which has the largest dinosaur collection in the United States. A technical advisor for the Jurassic Park movies, Horner was the first person to discover dinosaur eggs in the Western Hemisphere. He is now doing research on the evolution and ecology of dinosaurs and is particularly interested in their growth and behavior.
