The Order Primates represents a diverse collection of species, from the highly endanged lemurs of Madagascar, to the all too numerous bipedal hominids--humans. Although all the life forms subsumed under the label "primate" are worth study in their own right, it is particularly interesting to see how the roots of human behavior are observable in that of our nonhuman taxonomic family. |
