With lyric intensity he suggests that contemporary physicists are also metaphysical poets.

A. Van Jordan, the author of the much-praised MACNOLIA, lives and teaches in Austin, Texas. He is the winner of a Whiting Award, the Annisfield-Wolf Book Award, and a Pushcart Prize.
