The Library of Congress and W. W. Norton & Company announce the inauguration of the Norton/Library of Congress Visual Sourcebooks in Architecture, Design, and Engineering

The Center for Architecture, Design and Engineering and the Publishing Office of the Library of Congress are pleased to join with W. W. Norton & Company to inaugurate the pioneering series of the Norton/Library of Congress Visual Sourcebooks in Architecture, Design and Engineering. Based on the unparalleled collections of the Library of Congress, this series draws from the collections of the nation’s oldest federal cultural institution and the largest library in the world.

The books in this series will serve not only to introduce researchers to the illustrations selected by their authors, but also to build pathways to millions of photographs, drawings, prints, views, maps, rare publications, and written information in the general and special collections of the Library of Congress, much of it unavailable elsewhere.
